- 1885: founded by plumber Richard Paul Bachmann
- 1895: setting up of zinc-coating line to galvanize products
- 1895 - 1945: setting up of zinc-coating line to galvanize products
- 1918: handing over of the company to son Rudolf Conrad Bachmann
- 1945: disassembled by the Soviet occupying power and simultaneous rebuilding and simple production
- 1945: Franz Josef Krupicka enters company of his father-in-law
- 1955: takeover of company by Krupicka
- 1945 - 1972: buildup of modern production of roofing supplies, punchings and welding parts, refurbishing of the hot-dip zinc-coating line and development of a zinc-coating line for small parts
- 1972: nationalization under constraint
- 1990: restitution of company to Ilse Krupicka
- 1990: renewal and modernization of production means
- 1993: takeover of company by the daughters Bärbel Heerde and Gertraude Billib
- 2000: permit as a specialized company according to WHG
- 2005: purchase of the company by P. Bayer from the previous owners
- 2010: boiler plant exchange and renewal of the production goods

Quality and Environmental Management
Various control mechanisms for environmental management have been employed, such as
- constant laboratory testing of used materials and raw materials in the production process
- inspection and cleaning of filters in all areas
- inspection of production by creating measurement reports
We produce according to following quality standards:
- zinc-coating and cleaning / fettling according to DIN EN ISO 1461, protection of zinc quality
Further actions include:
- preparation of the material before galvanizing, such as drilling and cleaning by de-varnishing or sand blasting, etc.
- realization of special requests, such as excellent finish as prerequisite for wet-varnishing and powder-coating
- ready-to-ship packaging, labeling, and loading
